Last Friday, we gave away a collection pack to one lucky commenter. Today we are going to announce another winner from another contest. This was one that most of you probably didn't know about because it was geared to our store owners!
In December, we ran a contest for our store owners to show us their talents, and share a store sample or class they had done with Moxxie, and wow! Were we ever impressed! We originally said that we would choose one winner, and we had to go back on our word. We chose two. They were both so cool and completely different from each other, that we thought both of them deserved to win. Here you go:
First up, our entry from Scrapbook-N-Memories in Harrisonville, MO. Kourtney used our Midnight Dreary collection to create a two page layout showing the creepy, scary kind of Halloween we really love.
What we really liked about this layout was the way she combined Moxxie products with tools, inks, paints, and punches. She creatively combined elements to add depth to her embellishments, and used her Cricut and Martha Stewart border punch to turn Moxxie paper into even more embellishments. Way to go, Kourtney! We love it.
Our second winner is (believe it or not) from Winner, SD. Ruth at The Hobby Shoppe created this project using our Farm Livin' collection, showing a somewhat "small scale" bit of farm life.
This project caught our eye for a lot of reasons. We really liked the see-through frame with the pattern papers as home decor. Not a photo in sight, but a really cool piece of artwork to hang on the wall. The layout is positively darling with the title on a post, and a bit of journaling underneath, made by chopping the frame diecut into pieces. We also really liked the use of the barn paper at the top of the layout, with all the rough edges she cut by hand.
Our two winners received their choice of one of our new January releases to use in their store. Congratulations to both of you! We can't wait to see what else you can create.
I also want to give a sincere thank you to all of our stores who entered. We really applaud your talent and appreciate the hard work you put into your submissions, and we hope to see more from you as well!
