I wanted to share a page that I did with the "Forever Family" collection. Our daughter and her husband found out recently that they are expecting their first child. We are all thrilled! They have two dogs that have been their "babies" forever and now they will have to share their humans with a new baby! They had family photos done not long after finding out, and they of course included the doggies! I thought the photo was perfect for this collection!
I added some light pink cardstock accents and a few green die-cut leaves too. The flowers are all made with either the pink cardstock or the patterned paper from the collection. I added some liquid pearls here and there as well.
I had a small sample of this pretty pink and brown polka dot ribbon that I got from Peggy at Really Reasonable Ribbon, it was enough for a bow, but hot the strip, so I used pink cardstock and cut circles from the brown paper to match! Worked pretty well!!!
The flowers were either pleated or cut with the Spellbinders Jewel Flowers and Flourish dies. I used buttons and small blooms for the centers of the flowers and added bakers twine to the pinwheel blooms.
I love the colors together, and the Forever Family line has so many colors that it makes it really versatile, you can match it to most any color scheme. You can make it dark or light, brown, pink, green, yellow, orange.....lots of possibilities! This page looks slightly difficult but it really was pretty simple!
I really hope you try this collection, I'm so sure you will absolutely love it. I have more pages planned with it. Don't forget to check back to see what else we have to share with you!!!
