Good Morning! How was everyone's Memorial Day weekend? It was quiet and rainy around my place, but very welcomed. The kids are mostly done with activities and out of school for the summer. I'm ready for life to slow down for just a little bit! ;)
Today I want to share with you some really fun Birthday cards I made using one of Moxxie's new lines- Magical Moments.
This line is so bright and colorful! I love how the colors are perfect for summer but it's the perfect line for any Disney trip layouts or projects! Such a cute fun line. Want to see the cute Birthday cards I made using that adorable line? ;)
The really awesome part is when you open them! I used the same technique on all three for the inside but they all look different. We'll start with the first card on the left. The base of this card is black cardstock I then cut out a piece from the Magical Moments Cutouts and layered. Next I stamped the sentiment right onto the cutout.
Now for the inside.....
I created a little "gift" with some balloons that I cut out freehand out of some of the scraps I had from this same line. Then tied on some bakers twine to the ends of them and stamped my sentiment along the top.
For the next card I started out with a red sheet of cardstock for the base. I then rounded up some scraps I had and cut the ends to created little banners. Then using a black journaling pen to create some faux stitching around the edge.
Onto the inside. I love stars!
Last but definitely not least..... For this one I used a yellow cardstock base layered with a piece from the sheet Dreams Come True. Next I added "Happy Birthday" using Moxxie's Black Alpha's. I then used the banner from the sticker sheet, added some Imaginisce jewels in between each one and a few by the sentiment.
If you thought one "gift" was cute, in the first card you'll really love this one! I love how adorable the gifts look stacked up. I wrapped some ribbon on each one and added bows, to really make them look like gifts
Now I told you at the beginning that I had used the same technique for the inside of all three cards. I found this awesome pin on Pinterest and had to give it a try. To see it ClickHERE.
I loved how fun and easy these cards were to make!
Making a box card has been on my "papercrafts to do list" for a long time. Last week I got busy and made this one, using Moxxie's fantastic new Magical Moments line.
I began with a plain white box card. I covered the top parts of the box with the b side of the Magical Cutouts paper. The large star sticker was added to the front flap.
The bottom parts of the box and the back were covered with the Wishes paper. I backed the Main Street Signpost (from the cutouts paper) with the b side of the Magical Memories paper.
I used many of the Magical Moments papers and a Tim Holtz die for the flowers. I layered flowers, adding black cardstock behind some and putting enamel dots in the centers. The Family sticker was put on a small dowel stick. I cut the stars from the front of the Wishes paper and layered them together.
Thanks for stopping by. Hope your day is magical!!
I started by cutting the dreams come true paper down the middle longways at the 6 inch mark (cause you know i love making 6x6 cards) and used the right half with the castle and folded it in half. I then cut a piece of the left bottom of the same sheet of patterned paper and made a mat for the inside of the card.

I then used the banner sticker from the magical cardstock stickers elements and black alpha stickers for the front and inside sentiments. Lastly, i highlighted how pretty the paper is by using silver stickles, black stickles and crystal effects along with a few sequins and handmade lil flowers.
Hi all, i am stopping by today to share a 6x6 birthday card i made using the springtime paper called dandelion wishes. I just can't seem to get enough of these beautiful papers!
When the paper is so pretty it really doesn't need much embellishing so to keep it simple i stamped the sentiments and pop dotted make a wish and inked the edges of card. Then i stickled the white flower puffs and added centers to the flowers.
Last I added lace paper tape along the bottom as my grass. Thanks for stopping by and happy creating!
My son's 11th birthday is this weekend. And his scrappy mama had to make him invites for his party. He wants to go paintball blasting with friends for his birthday party.
MOXXIE's Fun Run paper is a blast- literally. Look at the great color paint splats. Perfect for paintball. I cut the paint splat paper into splat shapes. A bit of inking and hand doodled border and I'm I'm all set!
Hope they have a blast shooting colorful paint at each other!
Our Holiday challenge ends tomorrow. Have you entered?
Renee from Scrap Owl is back with you today to share some over 40 birthday fun!
When I was younger I used to love my birthday. It was my favorite holiday of the year! But, if you are anything like me, you have come to see your birthday as a reminder of why that face in the mirror has a few more wrinkles and lines than it did when you were 21. With this in mind, my friend Tamara at Something Photography has been offering her own spin on the first birthday cake smash!
Of course I used Moxxie's Very Merry Unbirthday to bring this layout to life. It is the perfect blend of bold, bright, and fun to frame these photos. The foundation of the layout is Moxxie's Very Merry Unbirthday I'm Late. I used elements from the Very Merry Unbirthday Die Cuts to create three embellishment clusters.
Don't you just love the way she changes the numbers around? LOL!
I layered the main photo in order to draw attention to it. I used the b-side of the Moxxie Very Merry Unbirthday I'm late as the base layer, added a cloth square from my scrap stash for some fringe, and then added the a and b sides of the Moxxie Very Merry Unbirthday Curiouser patterned paper. Each is displayed at different widths or angles in order to provide some organized chaos.
There is also some fringe under the smaller pictures on the left side of the layout. I believe that fringe is going to be a huge trend in 2015 so this won't be the last time you see it. Adding fringe is super easy - just grab some fabric and fray it. A little fringe or a lot of fringe is up to you.
I always need a lot of gift card holders this time of year. I think it's fun to make my own to make giving a gift card a bit more personal. Today I'm sharing 3 gift card that can be made pretty quickly with Happy Pawlidays.
I started by creating envelopes just large enough to fit my gift card (2 1/2" x 3 1/2"). I used the We R Memory Keepers Envelope Punch Board, but you can use any tool you like for creating envelopes. I scored every side, except for the top flap. I left the top flap unscored and opened so it can be attached like a tag to a present.
I kept the embellishments minimal. Just a few strips of patterned paper,
and a sticker here or there.
The best part is that these can be customized to any size gift card...because there are just a few of my favorite stores that make bigger, shaped gift cards! Have a wonderful Christmas!
