Hello! Samantha here today sharing my St. Patrick's Day card. I'm an Irish girl, so every year I make sure to send both of my grandparents a St. Patty's Day card
Just because none of Moxxie's new releases aren't Irish themed, it doesn't mean I couldn't use them for my cards this year.
I started by pulling all the greens and blue-greens from all of the new collections. Then, I started to layer up the ones I liked best. I ended up using papers from Fun Run and Springtime.
I created and printed out my greeting, since I don't have a St. Patrick's Day stamp. I was originally planning on printing the greeting in green, but I thought the rainbow look was a bit more fun! I cut the shamrocks with my Silhouette Cameo, because every St. Patty's Day card needs at least one shamrock on it! I finished up by adding a few sequins.
My son's 11th birthday is this weekend. And his scrappy mama had to make him invites for his party. He wants to go paintball blasting with friends for his birthday party.
MOXXIE's Fun Run paper is a blast- literally. Look at the great color paint splats. Perfect for paintball. I cut the paint splat paper into splat shapes. A bit of inking and hand doodled border and I'm I'm all set!
Hope they have a blast shooting colorful paint at each other!
I cut the center pieces into 3" squares and then embossed each one with a different pattern. I used Moxxie alphabets for the words "The Cleveland Zoo". I added white letters behind the black ones to give a shadow effect. The arrow stickers are from the Fun Run sticker sheet.
This was a fun page to make - I love the fabulous colors in the new Moxxie lines! Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a bright and happy day!
One thing that I really enjoy is working out. My lil sister and I enjoy working out together, and used to when we lived in the same state. But now that we live in different states, we chat about it and actually got the chance to go to the gym together while she was visiting over the Christmas break. We took a moment for a "sweaty selfie" after the class and the Fun Run line was perfect to scrap the photo with.
I added some journaling from the cutouts paperabout how she got me going back to the gym about 6 years ago and what an impact it had and my life and I'm still going strong.
I also took the triangle banner stickers and used them as triangles and added some stitching for fun:
And then staggered strip sized on the top to mix it up:
So have fun, play with bold colors and scrap those selfies!!!
Thanks sooo much for stopping by and have a great day!!!!

Well, hello there my fellow Moxxie maniacs! Renee from Scrap Owl back with you again to share an awesome technique with an incredible line.
As you can see, this is a very "manly man" layout. To be honest with you, I HATE doing "manly man" layouts. I want sequins, bling, and pretties on my layouts. Man layouts always seem so blah, blah, blah to me. But, when my scrappy buddy Kerri showed me pics of her firefighter hubby splashing through the mud during a bike race, I blurted out, "I have paper for that!" Please tell me that I'm not the only one that gets excited when I find pictures that match my paper!
So, with my "manly man" pictures in hand, and this amazing new Fun Run line from Moxxie, I got to work trying to avoid the usual blahness of my man layouts.
To jazz this one up a little, I used my Xacto knife to cut out a curvy shape out of the Got Mud patterned paper that would fit my pictures. Then I used my scissors to distress the inside of the shape. Finally, I inked the distressed edges with brown ink that blended nicely with the original color of the page. Moxxie's paper soaks up the ink so well, and the white core allows for a variety of shades of ink. This really helps provide a sense of dimension on the layout.
For the foundation of this layout I used the new Moxxie Just Run patterned paper. The a-side of this patterned paper has an amazing gradient that picked up the colors of the grass perfectly. I positioned my photos and then attached a variety of elements from the Moxxie Fun Run Sticker sheet.
I love the way that this layout came together! It certainly isn't a boring old, blah "man layout". Hopefully you like it as well and may even be motivated to tear up the inside of some of your own paper!
Stay Scrappy My Friends!

Today we are showcasing two lines! To start us off we have Fun Run! Here's another awesome #chashow booth picture for you. Did you swing by #2859? This line got a lot of attention at #cha2015. Tell us what you think.
Be Crazy, Just Run. Every paper in the line is at work on this layout, they work so well together! Add some fun dimension with foam adhesive, outline some of the cardstock stickers and alphas to make them pop more and you've got a great layout.
I am loving these fun photos of the booth at #cha2015!
Now for some Basketball projects!
Who doesn't have a few pictures like these, right? This fun Hot Shot layout is by Muse Samantha Taylor. She has a real clean design that keeps the focus on the photos. I really love the little enamel dots she added.
This Basketball layout by Muse Amy Allred has so many fun details. Her layered borders along the top and then the layered banner stickers at the bottom really bring the eye around the page. My favorite thing is the way she added her son's medal to the layout.
Our final project for today is this cute Basketball Card by Muse Daniella Hayes. Adding the lattice background was a clever way to repeat the net design. I love the way she bling-ed it up w/o making it too feminine.
If you're at CHA stop by the Moxxie booth #2859. #cha2015 #chashow
If you couldn't be there, would you like to see some pictures?
