Got Moxxie?: Announcing Moxxie Muses!

It's finally time to introduce our new Design Team, Moxxie Muses! Just as the mythological Muse was one who inspired, we have 10 new team members who are here to help inspire your creativity! Susie Bentz

I am a crafter at heart and have been creating all my life. I started to scrapbook about 5 years ago and it has truly become a passion. It is my creative outlet and my therapy! I am primarily a scrapbooker but I also enjoy making exploding boxes & altering items for gifts and home decor. My favorite thing to do right now is to play with canvases and dabble in art journaling! When I learn how to do something new, my first instinct is to share, which is one of the reasons I teach at the local scrapbook store. I have found so many wonderful friends through scrapbooking. I live in Northern Virginia with my husband of 21 years and our 3 children, a dog, 2 guinea pigs, and a turtle. One of my favorite quotes is from Leo Buscaglia, “Your talent is God’s gift to you; what you do with it is your gift to God.” My other favorite quote is, “When life gives you limes, slice them up and find some tequila!” I look forward to playing with Moxxie products this year and creating some really fun projects to share.

Patti Hamil

Hi, my name is Patti Hamil and I am thrilled to be on the Moxxie team! I have been scrapbooking for about 15 years and thoroughly enjoy the hobby. I am the Mom to three beautiful grown children, wife, and also mama to a 150 lb. Rottweiler and a precious English Bulldog. We also have a 15 year old outside kitty! I am lucky enough to stay at home and hardly a day passes without me scrapping. I have been blessed with the opportunity to be on a few design teams, design for trade shows and HSN and QVC and have attended CHA for the last 3 years. Besides preserving family memories the best part about this has been the wonderful and lasting friends that I have made.

Cathy Harper

My name is Cathy Harper and I love everything about the paper crafting industry. I have been an avid scrapper and card maker for several years now. In August of 2011, I sold my scrapbook store in Rapid City, South Dakota...so that my husband could take his dream job in Aberdeen, SD. I had a successful 4 year run in the industry. I miss my store, friends and customers so very much. I am now enjoying my free time and creating like crazy! Love it!

Michelle James

My name is Michelle James and I live in Emmetsburg, IA. I owned and operated a scrapbook store for 11 years and love all things paper, scrapbooking and stamping. I started making cards about 20 years ago and over the years have added altered art, scrapbooking and digital scrapbooking into my hobby set to name just a few. I have always been a "crafty" person and love to come up with new ideas or find ideas and create my version. Sharing ideas has become so easy now with blogging, Facebook and Pinterest, three of my favorite Internet sites.

Rebecca Price

Hi! My name is Rebecca Price and I have been paper crafting for eight years. I love the distressed and layered look and I always try to find a way to add texture to my work. I like making pages that are pretty to the eye, AND make you want to reach out and touch them. As you touch the page, see the pretty pictures and products, and read the journaling, the memory comes flooding back that much stronger. That is my goal! I love telling stories and trying new things. I am a proud mother of two. My 7 year old daughter is a diva, and kind of a "mini-me." My 5 year old son is such a crazy boy! They are the main focus of my paper crafting, and they often join me at the scrap table. That makes me happy, and it's why I do what I do!

Misty Rushlow

Hello my name is Misty! I live in Nebraska with my husband of 9 years and our 2 wonderful cats, Gizzy and Louie. I am currently a designer and teacher at our LSS, A Paige 2 Remember. First to let you know, I am a paper hoarder!! I LOVE paper and sometimes so much that I hate using it all up, that's why I buy extra sheets of my favorites! My passion is scrapbooking and cardmaking, but also enjoy working on altered art projects. However, lately I have been playing with canvas and I'm really enjoying it! I find through all the creating it relieves my stress and allows me to express myself. I am very excited and honored to be here. It's going to be a GREAT year!!!!

Mary Pat Siehl

Hi, my name is Mary Pat. I am married to a wonderful man who totally supports my addiction to paper crafting. I have 2 children who keep me totally stocked in pictures for a lifetime. I am also a high school teacher and am in my 23rd year of teaching. I began paper crafting over 10 years ago. I was totally addicted from the start. I especially love scrapbooking, sketch making, card making, and altered items. I have been very fortunate to also teach scrapbooking classes at my nearby local scrapbook stores. I am so honored to be a part of the Moxxie Design Team.

Dana Tatar

My name is Dana Tatar and I am a stay-at-home mom. I have two daughters, Claire (5) and Scarlett (3). I married my high school sweetheart in 2003 and have been happy ever since. I graduated from MSU with a B.S. in Biochemistry and worked in that field for about 3 years before I gave birth to my first daughter and decided to stay home full time. I have had many hobbies over the years, but scrapping is the one that really gives me satisfaction. I started scrapbooking to preserve memories after the birth of my first daughter. I love to mix products from different collections on my layouts and I frequently find inspiration in music, poetry and pop culture. I love fussy cutting and flowers and both can be seen on the majority of my layouts. I would say that my dominant scrappy styles are clean and simple and pretty chic, but I do like to mix things up a bit, depending on the paper or photos I want to use. When I'm not scrapping, I enjoy cooking and baking, reading, listening to music and spending time outdoors with my family and basset hound.

Rhonda Van Ginkel

My name is Rhonda Van Ginkel and I live in the beautiful Twin Cities of Minnesota. I am blessed to be a loving wife to my husband Chuck, and a mom to my two beautiful little boys ages 4 and 3. My favorite things to create are pages, cards and minis / altered projects. How incredibly honored I am to be invited to design with Moxxie's beautiful products and be a part of this team! Thank you!!!

Ange Weisbeck

My name is Angela Weisbeck, I go by Ange most of the time. I have been married for 14 years to a great guy and have four kids; two girls 13 & 10 and two boys 8 & 2. These kiddos keep me really busy with all of their cute antics and fun activities, which is one of the reasons scrapbooking has become a major hobby in my life. I love to sit down with some photos and relive those precious moments in my own creative way. I love the feel of ink and glue on my fingers and don't mind the occasional shine of glitter on my face (it just adds a little twinkle to the eye, right?)

We are so excited to have these talented ladies working with us. Very soon you will see lots and lots of creative samples from them! I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!
