A Card Using A Scrapbook Sketch!

Hey Everyone,

Mary Pat here again with you today.  The other day I introduced the new August scrapbook sketch.  

When  you see a sketch like this one do you only think layout?  To really get the most out of sketches you can also adapt them for our cardmaking.  

So when I see a sketch I try to pick a couple of elements out to use on my card.  So for my card today I picked out the 3 vertical strips of paper and then the horizontal strip.  Instead of photos On this strip I will place my sentiment.  Here us what I came up with:

I used the new Quite Contrary collection.  It is just so beautiful!  I love the pink and purple colors in this collection.  

So the next time you see a sketch try to adapt it to your cardmaking!
