Hi all! It's Renee Robbins from Scrap Owl with some super creepy cards made from the brand new Moxxie Zombie Attack collection.
Isn't it SCARY that the summer is almost over?!!? Yep, I hate to break it to you, but this summer has flown by and now we are in the process of getting ready for back to school and (my favorite holiday) Halloween! Each year I send out Halloween cards to my nieces and nephews, so I was beyond excited to be able to play with the new Moxxie Zombie Attack collection.
An Eat-Your-Heart-Out Greeting
I've always wondered what a zombie valentine would look like, so when I saw the pocket page card that said, "Zombies love you for what's on the inside", I knew I was going to love this collection.
I used the Moxxie Zombie Attack Apocalypse patterned paper as the foundation for this layout. Then, I cut a 3.5 by 4.5 rectangle from the Moxxie Zombie Attack Dead Man Walking paper and distressed it. On top of that, I placed the pocket card cut from the Moxxie Zombie Attack Zombie Cutouts paper. Since this is a little more of a lovey-dovey zombie card, I used black ribbon to add a sweet little bow.
#Apocalypse
In this modern age you can't forget the hashtag... even during a zombie attack.
This card features the Moxxie Zombie Attack Hallowed Ground patterned paper for the foundation. The graveyard scene provides a perfect backdrop to make a simple and eye catching card. I used some Lady Bug colored irRESISTible colored texture spray from Imagine Crafts for the blood droplets. This textured spray doesn't dry flat, so it gives you an amazing look.
For the paper embellishments, I used elements from the Moxxie Zombie Attack Zombie Cutouts, the Dead Man Walking b-side for the fishtail banner, and the Zombie Cardstock Stickers. I placed foam tape behind a few of the elements in order to give the card a little more dimension. The hashtag is actually a die cut from the Top Dog Dies Photo Finishers Die Set.

Seriously, I want to put the design of this zombie outbreak response team on the back of a shirt. I think I'll start my own zombie response club just for the gear.
For this card I used the rest of the Moxxie Zombie Attack Hallowed Ground patterned paper that I cut up for the previous card. Again, that graveyard background is so eerie! I then shredded the ends of the same black ribbon I used for the first card and adhered it to the foundation of the card. Finally, I put foam tape on the back of the response team sticker from the Moxxie Zombie Cardstock Stickers and attached it over the ribbon. It's all about LOVE - Looks Outstanding, but Very Easy.
I hope you are enjoying the new release as much as I am. The other Muses have put together some incredible projects to show you as well, so stay tuned!
Stay Scrappy My Friends,
