Fall weather and decorations are in full swing at our house. I love just about every season, but I think I love decorating for fall the most! My front door, however was seriously lacking. I decided to fix that by making an autumn leaf wreath for my front door.
I started with a plain foam wreath. I wrapped it in strips of burlap (I was out of burlap ribbon, so I just cut strips from a giant piece of burlap that I had). This is the back side of the wreath, so you can see what I mean.
Then, I cut about a gazillion leaves with my Silhouette Cameo from 3 different sheets of Autumn Glory. Since this will be hanging on my front door, I used hot glue to attach the leaves to the wreath. It seems to hold up the best to lots of temperature changes.
Now I have a fancy new autumn leaf wreath for my front door.
