This could be a very long post but I will try to speed things up.
I will begin with my inspiration for my project.
Sometimes we get these wonderful papers and know exactly what to use them for, and others we get just because we like. So, as I was thinking about using Moxxie Fun Run paper I just couldn't find inspiration. I was having an artistic block.
So when I can't control my thought process (the block) I clean something up...in order to gain control again. And I decided to clean my kids art supplies.
My kids are 19 and 11, so in almost 20 years....they have accumulated roughly 5120 crayons, 2560 markers, 1920 colored pencils, and 80 pair of scissors.
This was the stuff they did not use!
So as I was putting the last donated crayon in the box...I had a vision.
And so my "bloom" girl was born. She was beautiful and she had crayons in her hair and crayon on her face.
I melted the crayons and used it to "paint" my girl. I thought she looked like she has lived motherhood...through "the dirt, the mud, the grime and the glory"
I guess to make my story short, I used Moxxie Fun Run line to create what it feels for me to come to this new chapter of motherhood.
Thanks to my kids.
Love,
Julie (mom)
