Graduation? Part 2 w/ Muse Julie

Its definitely closer to Graduation around here and the invitations are rolling in and in and in and in...

But I'm prepared and have already started a few cards and gift toppers.

In the previous post I shared my girl Grad cards and today I have the guys, using Graduation Day.

Moxxie does an excellent job using neutral colors to go with almost any school.

I really like the punch-out die cuts too, they made for an easy "shaker" card.

I also promised to share a few gift toppers and I used mostly scraps and a little creativity.

Look at me getting all organized and getting stuff done!

I've been thinking ahead lately and trying to get out all birthday, anniversary,  and congratulations cards out early. And so I have been working on Graduation cards. It's only a month until all those parties happen and I want to enjoy them!

So, I've created a few cards and here are the first couple...

Moxxie's Graduation Day papers are neutral to accommodate all school colors, ours is black and red.

These are for the girl graduates, next post is for the guys (there might even be some decorations).

Finally!  I'm getting around to getting Robert's graduation pictures in place.  I have to get his 12th grade memory book finished, a little album I'm making for him about his senior year and pages for our yearly scrapbook.  

 

I knew I had to get these things done now because in a week I have to start making Holiday Cards! 

 

And I have the perfect papers for the job.  Moxxie has several lines for Graduating, or School.  They are awesome!  I used paper from the Senior Year and Graduation Day lines.  They go perfectly together!

I Layered the papers and did some stitching.  Then I added some spray ink (of course!).I cut the different papers in flag/banner shapes and tucked them behind the picture.  I embellished with Moxxie stickers and sequins and added the year to a glitter frame.

Graduation Day card with Pocket!

Hello and welcome!  Susie hosting the blog today and I just want to say congratulations to all of you who have graduates in the family!  Isn't it exciting?  My nephew just graduated from college and I created this card for him using the Graduation Day collection:

The little graduation cap in the corner came from the Graduation Day Diecut sheet.  It holds the card closed.  When you open it up, you can see I created a little pocket to hold a personal note.  It is also the perfect place to stash a gift card or check for the grad!

Grad Photo Album with Dana Tatar

Hi! Moxxie Muse Dana Tatar here today sharing a grad photo album. I can still remember the excitement of my high school and college graduation ceremonies. I took a lot of photos with family and friends and a small 4x6 photo album like this is perfect for holding all the pictures that don't make it onto a scrapbook layout.

I picked up this simple album for just a dollar. I removed the patterned paper inserts on the front and back covers and replaced them with paper from Moxxie's Graduation Day line. I added some flowers and bling to the front cover, directly to the top, to dress this album up even further.

I added a bright red ribbon bow and tassel along the binding for a pop of colorful school spirit. The Graduation Day collection is black and white, so incorporating school colors is quick and easy.
