Prom lo w/ Muse Renee

Sometimes memories are so special that they require more than one page to tell the full story.  Prom is certainly one of those times!  It's a time where every little lady gets to be a princess.  

 

Vicki had pre-prom photos taken of her dress and the photographer had a great time playing with her unique style.  Tamara Fischer of Something Photography keyed in on Vicki's Converse Allstars and used them to transform Vicki into a 21st century Cinderella. 

 

 

I used Moxxie's Night to Remember to capture this beautiful moment.  I used rub ons from the Night to Remember collection as my journalling. For a little more bling, I added sequins to the stars. 

 

 

As an additional decorative touch, I included an up and coming trend - fringe!  The tassels are made from embossing thread folded over a small bit of jewelry wire and anchored with brads.

Let's Dance w/ Muse Joan

Hi, Joan with my very first post for Moxxie! I used the  Night to Remember collection when I made this page of my daughter and her husband, who were at a wedding reception. I love that these papers can be used for many different types of layouts.

 

The base of my 8 1/2" x 11" layout is blue cardstock and I layered the BFF's paper onto that. I cut the Prom paper to 7 1/8" x 9 3/4", keeping the flourish at the top. This piece of paper became the base for my photo, stickers and stars. The stars were punched from the chevron side of the Prom paper and then I splotched gold paint on them. I also punched some stars from gold vellum. I added the swirl and Dance the Night Away sticker from the Prom Cardstock Sticker sheet, after punching the saying with a scallop punch. It was layered onto a small white doily and a circle cut from the BFF's paper.

Bling on the Prom!

Hello and welcome!  

Susie here today with a layout using Moxxie's Night To Remember.  This collection is wonderful because it has a black base and then has such a nice range of colors - it will match any prom dress!

The cardstock stickers features a disco ball which I embellished with rhinestones and thickers...yes, my senior prom was in 1979!

I adhered the flourish stickers to black cardstock and trimmed them out before positioning them on the layout.  And who doesn't love a little black rhinestone on a prom layout? 

I used a craft knife to cut out the tops of the letters and added some rhinestones.

Hello Moxxie friends!  I hope everyone is enjoying all the NEW collections that have been released in the past few weeks.  I can definitely say that my FAVORITE colletion is "Easter-rific", but my 2nd favorite is "Night to Remember".  I love the black and all the other colors that are used, the black makes them just POP!

So this week I have used a combination of the "Night to Remember" and "Just a Girl" collections.  I also used a NEW sketch from Simple Sketches, and the "Basically Birthday" stamp set from A Jillian Vance Designs.

Friends w/ Muse Ange

 Hello! How are things in your neck of the woods? 

Have you been enjoying all the fun projects the Muses have been doing with these fantastic new lines? I love all of the creativity I'm seeing!

 

Today I'm using the new A Night to Remember line. It's perfect for those Prom/dance memories and has such an awesome feel to it with the disco balls and bright colors on a black background. 

  My oldest is 15 and (luckily) not dating yet, so I didn't have any recent pictures that fit the "theme". I did, however, have an adorable friends photo of my younger daughter with 3 of her buddies.

 

 

I honestly feel like this line was made for this photo! Doesn't it look fantastic?

I started with a white bg, adding splats of color here and there to match the bright, fun colors of the line. 

 

 

I added washi around the entire layout. I think the "frame" looks is really fun. Then I started layering these great papers, both sides of BFF'S and the back side of Prom are on here.

 

 

Of course you have to use the awesome stickers. They aren't just regular flimsy little things, these are top quality, cardstock weight stickers and I love them! I used them for my title and to make some "arrows" to lead the eye around the page.

 

 

I finished up with my journaling, a stamped date/sentiment, some bling and a bit of pen work.

A Fun Spring Card!

Hello Moxxie Fans!  It's Muse Misty here with a FUN Spring Card using our NEW collection, Night to Remember.  If you haven't taken a look at this paper, I suggest you take a peak at it and get your stash soon!  The colors and patterns are so vibrant, fun and PERFECT for a variety of different occasions.  It's always fun to go "out of the box" and use a certain collection of paper for something completely different.

The flowers, butterfly and saying, are stamps that I used from A Jillian Vance Designs, new stamp set Simply in Bloom.  This set transformed this paper into a "Blooming" card that is just so bright and cheery!  The card design was created by using this weeks Mojo Monday sketch.  If you haven't gone and checked this out, I would HIGHLY suggest taking a moment to go check it out!  Here is this weeks sketch:

Hi Moxxie fans! Dana here today sharing a simple card that I created with the NEW A Night To Remember Collection! I loved the dot pattern on the "My Date" patterned paper and used that for the base of my card. I embellished the card face with some simple colored rhinestones and designer trim.

For the inside of the card I embellished a piece of patterned paper with a sticker from the XOXO Collection. A card like this would make a great prom invite, but would also work well for the upcoming Valentine's Day holiday.
