This is a bittersweet moment.

This is my last Moxxie DT project.

And, I saved my favorite for last.

I used the wonderful Springtime line and just made lots of flowers, feathers, leaves and a few butterflies.

I wanted to make a home décor item to hang on my wall and to serve as a memory and inspiration.

I added a painted word "favorite" because...it is!

I am especially thankful to Moxxie and all the other DT's and Peggy, Ange, Jennifer and Pat.

Saying Goodbye w/ Muse Ange

 Hello!

Today I want to share a few of the projects I've made with the newest lines.

 

 

This fun layout using the new Magical Moments line was a based on a sketch from My Scraps & More sketches. Such a fun design and so easy to use the great graphics on the paper as my main design element.

 

 

This one from the All Star Baseball line was super fun to put together! I love these photos of my son doing his "thing" at catcher. He really loves it and this line makes it so easy to build a great page of memories.

 

 

And my favorite line from the release, Fastpitch!

I just LOVE this line! The colors are fantastic and play to the sport not team colors, so it really goes with whatever color your team may be.

 

 

I created this fun page using the line and it's fun quotes.

 

 

I think this is my favorite project with the line tho. I love this fun spin on a new song and had a blast making these for my daughter's softball team this season.

 

This is my last post as the Moxxie co-ordinator.

I'm definitely sad to go. My love for the Moxxie company, products and people I have had the privilege of working with will be lasting.

I love this craft and the friends I've made through it.

Good morning! I love the beauty of spring! Everything is just so beautiful. I especially love the tulips. I found a couple of pictures where my two beautiful little girls when they were 4 and 2 years old. I had found them outside smelling and playing with the tulips.

 

 

This layout is great for using all those spare scraps! I started out with my base with a sheet from the football line Grid Iron. Then as I was digging through my Springtime line I started to notice I had a bunch of little spare scraps, I decided to try to incorporate them. It was a lot of fun piecing it all together. I even used some of the Moxxie Alphas for the date.

 

 

I even loved adding little extra's here and there such as enamel dots, stickers & brads. My favorite was stitching the word Love on.

Earth Day w/ Muse Joan

The layout I created for today's post is in honor of Earth Day. This celebration is on April 22 (today!) - a day when people share their joy of nature and the Earth's environment. It's a day when many people plant flowers and trees, clean up trash on roadsides and in parks and share ways to promote recycling.

To make the layout, I used Moxxie's Springtime line. The background paper is Take Flight with the photo matted on the b side of Springtime Cutouts. I cut a scalloped circle from the b side of In Bloom and added it behind the photo. A small heart was punched from Butterfly Garden and placed near the bottom of the page.

The title was made with Moxxie's black alphabet stickers. The word strip "Keep the Beauty" was done with a label maker. Finally, I added blue enamel dots in two sizes and backed the page onto black cardstock.

The purple crocuses in the photo are so beautiful! I hope that on Earth Day, and every day, we will help to "keep the beauty" of our planet.

I just love a scrapbook paper that lends itself so easily to home décor.

And Moxxie  Winery is just that kind of scrapbook paper!

I will be honest and say that I am personally terrible at decoupage, but look at my results!

I know when my friends see this tray filled with their favorite spirit they will only see the beauty.

(oh yeah, and flowers can cover up all the mistakes!)

Bird Feeders Layout w/ Muse Samantha

Hello! Samantha here today
to share a layout with you. Spring is in the air and so I thought it would be lots of fun to use Moxxie's Springtime to scrap a few photos that my niece took of my boys. She was watching them for me one day, and they made some really fun bird feeders.

 

 

The sweet, cheery birds from Springtime were just right to scrap about their bird feeder making exploits. My boys will only let me get away with the smallest amounts of pink and purple on their layouts, so picked out the pieces from Springtime that were predominantly blue, green, or orange to frame my photos.

 

 

This little birdie journaling card was just right for my layout, but it was surrounded in purple, so I trimmed around the the very edge of the card (and the bird's tail). 

 

 

I love the little chevrons that you can find on many of Moxxie's sticker sheets. They always seem to be just the right embellishment for a project. Here I also added a few enamel dots to them as well.

Spring cards & gift boxes w/ Muse Joan

Hi, Joan here with two pillow boxes and two cards to share with you today. These would make cute favors filled with candy. Or they could be used for holding money or a gift card. Let's look at the boxes first.

I used the Moxxie Springtime line to make the pillow boxes. The orange box is made with the b side of Dandelion Wishes. I wrapped the box with sheer orange ribbon and added the purple butterfly sticker from the Springtime sticker sheet.

The second box is made from the b side of the Take Flight paper. I wrapped this box in orange & white twine. Then I added a flower punched from the same papers. A purple gem was added to the middle.

The cards are 4"x4" in size, on white card bases. I added small pieces of the Springtime paper and stickers from an older Moxxie line, Easter- rific. The cards were layered onto a Moxxie die cut for scanning.

Moxxie has the  cutest papers!

There are many pieces to all of Moxxie's collections.  There are several double sided papers, die-cuts and stickers.  I picked my pieces from the "Spring Has Sprung" collection.  I picked "Cottontail", *he is just too sweet* "Spring Fling" *such a pretty blue* and "Bluebird" *i think it looks like dyed Easter eggs* as my papers and the Double Sided Die-Cuts border *that looks like a fence*.  I also got my Easter stamps (sorry I don't remember who made them), Ranger Distress Ink "Evergreen Bough", Tombow Stamp Runner Dot Pattern Adhesive and a water brush.  I took out ribbon, but didn't use it.

 

 

I cut and layered all of the papers on a card base and stamped "Easter" at the top.  Then, I colored the greenery on the fence with the same ink and a water brush. I adhered it across the bottom of the card.  I had to, literally be restrained hold myself back from adding splashes of paint, ribbons, gauze, buttons, ink..... you get the point.  But I wanted the artwork on the paper speak for its self.  It is just that beautiful!!
