Long Time Friends w/ Muse Wendi

Hello and good morning...

One thing that I love to do when I'm scrapping is to mix and match collections. I love it when I have the freedom to pull from different lines and create a page and it all comes together.

For this layout, I used the Tiny Dancer, the Faith and Queen of the Crop lines. I scrapped this photo of my husband and his friends at his friend's wedding, and wanted to pull the pinks and grays from the various lines.

I decided to go with a sunburst design, but not go with a typical full sunburst image, so I just used it as a partial. I punched various sized circles and then added some enamels. I added a punched border to break up the sunburst:

I also sewed around the edges of the page:

Easter Cheer cards w/ Muse Amelia

Good Morning! Today I've got two very cute and fun cards to share with you! I paired two unlikely new Moxxie lines together for these cards.... Grid Iron & Tiny Dancer.

 

 

Pairing these two lines together made the cutest Easter cards! Here's the first one...

 

 

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the little bunny that I downloaded from Miss Kate Cuttables out of a sheet from Grid Iron, love the richness of that brown. Then I used a sheet from Tiny dancer to cut out the intricate egg. I tied a know in some ribbon and trimmed the ends and adhered it with a glue dot to the bunny. For the sentiment I used a stamp from a Stampin' Up! Stamp set- Just So Sayings and stamped it on a small piece of white cardstock that I cut the corners on to shape into a tag, punched a hole and threaded some linen thread through it then tied it onto the pink bow.

I used the scrap left behind from cutting out the bunny for the previous card to create this one. I layered it the pink cardstock that I used for my base and traced the bunny out and cut the shape out. I then adhered the brown layer on top of the pink, now my card front has a bunny shaped hole! ;) For the inside of the card I added a cute polka doted sheet from Tiny Dancer. Next, I added a little white pom-pom for the tail and tied a mini bow adhering it about where it's neck should be. Then I added 3 little enamel dots on the outside. Just a little different but I love how cute and simple it turned out.

Hello Sunshine card w/ Muse JenT

Hello sunshine!!!

Yes, i am talking to you. Doesn't that saying just make ya smile?! So i just had to use it in a card. For this card  i used a stamped image that i colored a while ago and was sooo excited that the tiny dancer and springtime collection papers and stickers worked perfectly with it. I first, used the green paper from the springtime collection to make the base then i layered on the papers and stickers from tiny dancer collection.

Next i  added some vintage lace i had in my stash and then fussy cut a cute butterfly from a springtime paper and placed it next to the image to give more dimension the card. Lastly, i finished the card off with a lil inking on the edges and faux stitching to match the plum colored butterfly.

Encouragement cards w/ Muse Daniella

Hello and thanks for stopping by!  I have some really awesome cards to share, that I made using Moxxie Paper.  This paper line is called "Tiny Dancer", but don't let the name fool you!  The awesome thing about Moxxie paper is it's versatility!

 

The colors and patterns in this collection just call my name!  Pink is my favorite color!!

 

 

Do you see the beautiful backgrounds these papers have?  The pink design on the bottom card is gorgeous!  And the grey stripe with white swirls on the top card is amazing!  I added Tim Holtz and Unity Stamps, Inks and Washi tapes to the cards.  Some flowers too, of course :)

 

Cards don't always have to be for a special occasion.  Sometimes it's just nice to give a card to help encourage someone.

 

Make a card for someone, just to tell them they are doing a good job, and don't forget to use Moxxie paper!!  You will LOVE it!!

Treasure Box of Valentines w/ Muse Julie

So now that Valentines day is over and you have received the most beautiful cards, where to store them?

I up cycled a plain box to hold such treasures.

I used Moxxie Tiny Dancer line and it was as easy as wrapping a present!

I added lots of embellies, like flowers and butterflies but this idea can be made to suit any taste.

Love the cluster on the lid.

And it is perfect for all my love notes to be cherished.

Sweets for my Sweet Treat Container w/ Muse Rebecca

Valentine's day is TOMORROW! Are you ready? Today I want to share a treat box I made for my kids. It was a plain kraft treat box from a local grocery store, but I felt it could use a makeover!

I used both Springtime and Tiny Dancer papers on this,as well as Moxxie black alphas!

I put some cute donuts inside of the box for my kids, and they loved it!

Valentine's Treat w/ Muse Amelia

Today I've got a fun Valentine's Day treat for you! I found these cute little test tubes in the $1 bins at Michael's.

 

 

 I didn't know what I was going to do with them but I knew I just had to make something! This is what I came up with! 

 

 

Adorable! Right!? I found a great tutorial on how to make the holders over at Splitcoast Stampers. Then I used some of Moxxie's Grid Iron and Tiny Dancer lines to make it all pretty. 

 

 

**I followed the directions on where to score and cut to create the box but did NOT begin to actually glue it all together until I had finished decorating it first! 

 

I cut a strip of designer paper about 1/8" to a 1/4" smaller than back of the box and used my corner round edge punch and did a bit of distressing on it before I adhered it down to my box. Then I cut out a strip to wrap around the middle of the box part and distressed it a bit too. I tied together two small pieces of pink & brown bakers twine and stapled them down to the box. I punched out a cute little heart of Moxxie's Tiny Dancer line and layered on a Mambi sticker- love, using 3d-dots for dimension.

 

 

On the test tube measured around the test tube cut a strip of designer paper the length and width I needed. Leaving about 1/2" extra on the length to overlap. Before wrapping it around I found the middle of my strip punched a heart out and taped a small piece pink paper behind so the pink would peek through the punched out heart. Then I traced around it with a bronze Sharpie. Once I adhered the strip around the test tube I used some more pink & brown bakers twine to tie around.

 

 

Such a fun little treat for someone special!
